The fashion trend of women in Tuxedos, has become more prominent on the Red Carpet. Especially,
by stylish celebs like Victoria Beckham, Janelle Monae, Kate Moss
and Rachel Zoe. These women have taken the classic
men staple and kept it masculine while adding slight feminine touches.
Until the 19th Century Tuxedos were only worn by men. But
Designer Yves Saint Laurent in the late 1960’s revolutionized
women’s fashion with his Le Smoking tuxedo,-the first Tuxedo for
women! Women are definitely taking the alternative to the little black
Dress to new levels. This invention has continued to influence Fashion Designer’s such
as Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Tom Ford and Jason Wu!!!!!
